چکیده
Sunn hemp (SH, Crotalaria juncea, L.) is a tropical multiple-purpose legume. The green manure SH (GMSH) crop might display protein ecology in sustaining ruminants; however, its silage features remain unclear. To efficiently prepare GMSH silage, additive treatments consisting of control (no additive, CON), molasses (MO), Acremonium cellulase (AC), and Lactobacillus casei TH14 strain inoculant (TH14) were implemented using completely randomized design. Repeated measurements done after (AE conditions) small-scale silo system for 120 days aerobic instability + AIS conditions). Briefly, ensiling loss stability ranged from 150 to 175 g/kg 8.3 104 days, respectively. In AE conditions, the pH 4.33 5.74, MO or AC was desirable (p < 0.01) lactic acid fermentation. reduced fiber contents. increased soluble non-protein nitrogen by decreasing insoluble nitrogen. ammonia level vitro methane production. led more air damage chemical compositions digestibility vitro. results show that an optimization additives could effectively modify make it good roughage source; studies are required feeding ruminants.

The chemical composition, in situ rumen degradability coefficients of dry matter (DM) and crude protein (CP), in vitro gas production and in vivo digestibility were evaluated for olive cake (OC) silage treated (DM basis) with different additives as follows: (1) untreated OC; (2) OC, 8% molasses and 0.4% formic acid and (3) OC, 8% molasses, 0.4% formic acid and 0.5% urea. After addition of the...

The aim of present study was to assess the effects of individual various essential plant oils on chemical composition, aerobic stability and fermentation characteristics of corn silage and in vitro rumen fermentation and methane emission using gas production technique. Whole crop corn was harvested and ensiled in laboratory scale tubes (4±0.25 kg) for 45 days. Treatments consisted of either cor...
